Headaches

Headaches seem to be a symptom of 20th and 21st Century life, fast paced, poor diet and mounting stress. As with Pain there are two types of Headache, Acute and Chronic.

Acute Headaches are experienced infrequently, maybe at particularly stressful times and can usually be dealt with using paracetemol or other comparable over the counter products. Acute headaches are normally a dull ache occurring in no particular place in the head, like a steady throbbing.

If you don’t like taking capsules or would like to get rid of your headache naturally, we’ve got a better method to try.

The Acute Headache resolve, no pills included

Learn this script it will come in very handy, when you’ve learnt it, it works every time!

Important information
Once you begin, do not think about the headache or the word headache again, even when you have finished.

This is a powerful tool that links the neurotransmitters causing your headache sensation with the neurotransmitters providing a sense of warmth to the brain. This powerful system overloads your brain with more important information associated with temperature, and the result is a completely clear head, try it!

1. When you feel a headache coming on, try to move yourself to a quiet, non bright space and sit comfortably.

2. Let your arms relax by your side, and as you do, begin to notice your left hand.

3. Feel the sensations in your hand, you may be able to feel the blood flowing now, you are consciously aware of your fingers and the finger tips.

4. Begin to imagine your hand starting to get warmer, quite quickly it is warmer than your right hand, which still sits limply by your side.

5. Now, notice your hand starting to get much warmer gradually, and as it does notice how good you feel, the warmer your hand gets.

6. You may notice your hand starting to get nice and hot and by this point you feel extremely relaxed, as though your level of comfort is controlled by the sensation in your left hand.

7. When you feel ready get up, and carry on with your day.

Since using this method over 10 years ago I have not had 1 single paracetemol or other headache relieving drug.

Chronic Headaches are much more serious and include the mother of all headaches -migraines, and tension headaches and cluster headaches. All of these may persist through life and can be very debilitating and unpleasant.

Migraine Headaches tend to be felt down one or both sides of the head, they are extremely debilitating and the sufferer will normally experience light sensitivity and nausea. It is important to move to a quiet place, out of the light and lay still until the headache passes. Be aware though, migraines can last for several hours in extreme cases.

Tension Headaches normally feel like your brain is in a vice, either forward or sideward, and the vice is getting tighter, squeezing your brain. Again, a Tension Headache sufferer should try to get to a place to lie down and relax. Movement will make the headache worse, so try to avoid it.

Cluster Headaches are characterised by a sharp pain in a specific area, normally around the eye. Cluster Headaches don’t tend to last very long, they are instant, quick, momentarily debilitating and then they wear off. Unless they have lasted for several minutes you can normally avoid taking any retreating action.

In each case of Chronic headaches you should consult a GP, particularly if the headaches are getting so bad that you begin avoiding situations or you have time off school or work because of them.

A headache can always be an early warning sign of something more serious, normally they just indicate the need for a lifestyle change or a sign that you have over-done it, but if they become persistent always consult your GP.
